The three principals of Hillcrest Management combined have over 65 years of experience in managing residential real estate.  In addition to market rate units, they have experience in all forms of affordable housing, including Section 8, sections 202 and 236, and low income housing tax credits.

Fred W. Federici Jr.

Fred built his first 100 unit project 30 years ago in Newark.  Fred has served as tax assessor of Essex County for over 15 years.  Fred has built 271 units of housing and consulted in hundreds more.  He is also a licensed real estate broker.

Rosaria Federici

Rosaria served as Chief of protocol for the state of New Jersey for 3 administrations.  She has also served on numerous hospital and charitable Boards including the archdiocese of Newark.  She has been involved in the routine maintenance of Hillcrest projects for over 20 years and is responsible for the impeccable cleanliness of all projects.

Kevin Krier

Kevin has been involved with Hillcrest Management for 15 years and is a licensed real estate broker.  He is also C5P certified in tax credits and was the original co-author of the state policy for tax credit compliance.  He has spoken at both the NJ Governor’s conference on affordable housing as well as the national spectrum conference on tax credit compliance.  He currently serves on the executive board of the NJ affordable housing management association.  Most recently, he completed two major acquisition rehabs of projects using subsidy layering of tax credits over Section 8 assistance.
